Discover Dalhousie
In 1937, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose spent a significant amount of time at Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, due to his enthusiasm for the natural grandeur of the city. Dalhousie is a popular tourist destination. In his tribute, the crossroads of Subhash Baoli & Subhash Chowk remain his name today. Waterfalls, rivers cutting through mountains, lush forest paths that run close to massive cliffs, and beautiful views of the Dhauladhar range in the distance keep the hill station appealing to travelers even in modern times. Dalhousie should be visited for various reasons, including the town's Mall Road, cafés, and markets.
Tourists may go shopping while exploring the Gandhi Chowk neighborhood. The pricing is likewise lower because overall footfall is lower at this time. Himachal Handloom and Tibetan Market sell items such as trinkets, 'laughing Buddha,' and 'magic charm' display pieces for a low price. Woollen products, such as shawls, can be purchased as desired. Tibetan handicrafts such as carpets, Buddhist paintings, and copper and silver 'diyas' may be purchased.
Dalhousie's street food is enticing. Momos, thukpas, burgers, and pastries are available at any time. These are often homemade and sanitary. Some eateries provide great north Indian Punjabi meals to please every taste bud. So, pack your bag & get ready to relax in a new place.
