• Summer (March to June): 10°C to 25°C – Perfect for sightseeing, trekking, and riverside stays.
• Monsoon (July to September): Lush greenery but occasional Heavy rainfall, misty landscapes, roaring waterfalls, but slippery roads, landslides, and leeches — best avoided unless you love emerald-green vibes.
• Winter (October to February): Cold and magical, with snowfall in higher areas. Temperatures can drop close to 0°C.
  
  

HOW TO REACH:

• By Air: Nearest airport is Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali) (~ 60–80 km, 2–3 hours by road). Limited flights; better connectivity via Chandigarh (~250 km) or Delhi (~470 km).
• By Train: Closest railway station is Chandigarh/Kalka or Joginder Nagar; From there, you can hire a taxi or take a bus.

• By Road: Well connected via Aut Tunnel and Banjar route
  From Delhi: — Approx. 450–470 km, (11–13 hours) via Chandigarh → Sundernagar → Pandoh Dam → Aut → Banjar → Jibhi/Tirthan. For Shangarh, continue via Sainj.
  From Chandigarh: — Approx.  210–240 km, (6–8 hours) via Sundernagar→ Pandoh Dam → Aut → Banjar → Jibhi/Tirthan. For Shangarh, continue via Sainj.
  From Shimla: — Approx.  200–250 km via Jalori Pass (scenic but seasonal; closes in heavy snow Dec–Mar). Alternative: via Aut.
  From Manali: — Approx.  100 km via Aut/Banjar (3–5 hours). HRTC buses run to Banjar/Aut; shared taxis or private cabs/SUVs are ideal for the last hilly stretches to Jibhi or Shangarh.

BEST TIME TO VISIT:

• For most travelers, April–June and September–October is considered the best months to explore Tirthan Valley, Jibhi, and Shangarh.
• March to June: Ideal for pleasant weather, blooming nature, and outdoor activities. Avoid July–August (monsoon risks)
• September to October: Clear skies, and stunning mountain views.
